May be a bit obvious but have you checked the nitogen cycle?

i havent but not had any probs for along time now and changed nothing,,but will be checking it all tomorrow  should have done it 1st i know!!

could this cause the fish to swim upside down etc ,i also noticed that one of my other guppies had slightly red gills?

hi guys just to let u know the water is fine but the nitrate is at 10ppm, not sure what that means but on the card its not far from fine  ,,,ammonia is 0 and so is the nitrite!
also the fish now seems worse today

Bullying can cause swimbladder issues, so can overfeeding and large swings in temp. Sb issues are generally not bacterial/parasitic but can be. I would remove the suspected bully, do big waterchange, feed the tank some cooked deshelled mashed up peas and not feed for 2 days after.
As mentioned above, sb generally sorts itself out.
all the best
cheers
