My fish were fine then all of a sudden they started dying one by one. My dwarf flame gourami is covered in ick/white spot and my neon tetras are getting little spots too.
The two guppies I lost appeared to have had their fins bitten off and we thought it was the gold gourami we were given which was known to be a bit aggressive so we got rid of it but that didnt seem to be the issue. Now I have noticed one of the neon tetras tail is all "chewed looking".. help!!

Raise the temp to 80 degrees than add 1 tablespoon of salt for each gallon of tank that you have.

Good luck.

How long has your tank ben set up, how big is and was it cycled?

I ask because fish don't usually get ich or fin rot unless they're suffering some kind of stress; normally poor water quality.

Put the tempature up to 80-82, and buy some ick med at petsmart, runs from $4-5.

Agreed. Go for the aquarium salt (it's for freshwater fish) and raise the temp to 80-82F before you try any meds (which can sometimes do more harm than good). Also do a 10% water change for 3days. That is the life cycle for ich and you need to make sure you get it all out of the gravel so it doesnt keep getting on your fish. Good luck!! If this does not work, try Rid-Ich as your form of medication.

Yeah I agree with volley on the part of using Ridlch if the ich doesn't go away. Use it after a week or two of trying the natural way. Only use meds when it can't be solved naturally. ;)
