in my community tank i have a diveder up in the tank wth 5 guppy fry in one side of the divider. well i got home from work today to find 4 extra fry. my female guppy must have given birth in one side and 4 smart little fry swam through the divider to safety. lol smart little things

nah, unfit fish wouldnt be able to swim, they could be the smartest, but whats the point if they cant move anywhere.

They probably swam through the holes to get away from the adults

as long as they can swim fast in any direction (ideally to cover) they are fine. A mixture of both imo.
