Super Red Ruby Jewel Cichlids

I live in the Los Angeles area ( van nuys to be more specific ), and I have never seen any super red ruby jewels for sale! I checked a few pet shops, but I have never found any reb ruby jewel cichlids.. Any one know why? Is it too hard to raise around where I live? Are they rare? I'm quite confused...

EDIT2: On second thought...are those the same fish at all??? Sorry, can't really make out the differences in cichlid types...
