All my fish are males

I had a problem with two sunsets platies bullying my tuxedo platy. I have since removed the worst offending bully sunset, and all are now happy appart from the other bully sunset that now seems very depressed and resting on the bottom, he is still interested in food but thats about it, although i couldn't get him to eat his peas yesterday :(

He did do a strange thing yesterday, whilst he was in the indian fern as he stood on his head, when he does swim it is normal.

First day of depression after taking his buddy out he was resting at top corner of the tank and a day after that he is nearly always resting at the bottom, all my other fish are very active.

I have tested for everything and the water is fine.

Any thoughts?

First of all they could be a number of things. what is the ammonia, nitrite, and ph, in the tank? How big is your tank? Answer these questions and I will see if I can help you..

0 ppm nitrite

0 ppm ammonia

ph 7

0 mg/l non-chelated iron

0.1 mg/l chelated iron

7 mg/l nitrate

0.5 mg/l phosphate

28 uk gallons planted tank with 5 male platies and 5 male guppies.

Filters eheim classic external 2217 and a fluval 3 plus internal, i also do a 25% water change every week.

Temp is between 25C and 26C.

I feed tubifex, free dried daphnia, spirulina algae flake and nutrafin max flake, cucumber and shelled peas.

I feed very sparingly as i'd rather under feed than over feed.

If he's resting on the bottom and been head standing i'm afraid he's dying sorry, can you isolate him.

You were right he died, he was still breathing at 4am this morning but it had been laboured all day and he was off his food :rip: all i could see on his body was one tinywhite spot and two on his tail fin, these you could barely see.

All the others seem fine but some are flicking.

I've put him in the freezer because if any more start looking ill i can have an autopsy done. I know fish die but i'm curious.
