I have 2 Pterygoplichthys Joselimaianus in my 120x40x60cm planted setup. these are now 5 and 7 inches long and the biggest has started to dig in the substrate. The tank is not ideal as it is a heavily planted tank with high lighting.
Does anyone else have these fish and are they very territorial?
Can anyone advise me on a suitable tank setup for these, including tank size (do these fish require a deep tank?), lighting levels and decoration. I assume I could put java ferns in the tank to provide some colour. Also what mid water fish would be suitable for dim lit tank that are from the same biotope?
