Suitable For Plant Growth?

So I've got this rock here and I want to grow something on it. Its a pebble/bolder I've had In my tank for a while now but I'm not sure what will take hold. I've heard of plants growing on rocks but it sounds like it might be difficult to do, any suggestions?

It looks like a rather large rock so it would be quite difficult to tie something to it. You could possibly glue some Java Moss to it.

U could use a hairnet to secure moss.or riccia but depends on ur lites etc.

Java moss would be the easiest way of covering it, but it might take a few weeks to take a get hold.
