just for safety's sake can anyone work up the stocking numbers based on bout 50 gallons...

i'm crap at it, i hate maths lol thanks

Scissortail's get too big for a 50g if I remember correctly.

http/www.thinkfish.co.uk/ has a pretty good community calculator but it does tend to "overstock" IMO (I would go to about 2/3rds of what they suggest).

says that scissortails get up to 15 cms adult.........er so that's about just under 6 inches......dammit

Yeah thats what I thought. Thats not too bad if you have one or two fish that size but because they need to be kept in a group as well and they are very active swimmers they need a big tank.
