Suggestions Please

Can someone make me some suggestions please?

There are just too many nice fish in the LFS and I can't decide on what to get:

I'm just in the middle of setting up a new tank, which is 36x12x15 inches.

Substrate will be a sand/gravel mix and I will have it somewhat, but not heavily planted.

So far, I know I definately want to have:

4x Mountain minnows
4xcory's (probably cory jullii)
4xcoolie loaches

I can't work out what else to put in there, it's a pretty black and white tank as it stands.

I don't want to have:
Guppies
Molly's
Platys

and I would quite like a couple of Rams if I can find a couple of peaceful ones.

What other fish would people suggest I get? I'd like a bit of colour, and some activity, but I want it to be a peaceful tank. I really wanted Tiger barb's, but hear they are too nippy to deal with.

sorry cant help you much but are you refering to the white cloud mountain minnows if so they are coldwater fish and your other fish are tropical though im not sure of the loaches

It's about 23 gallons (uk ) 28 ( us)

Anyone think of something that would be a nice addition?

a nice shoal of rosy tetras. about 6 of them. also corys are more livelier in 5's and minnows are better in a shoal of 6.

5 cory cats
4 kuhli

Red and white with some orange thrown in. It will be a nice little tank.
