Fish Crazy
I have a 57G with the following:
6 x McCulloch Rainbow (12 inches)
18 x Cardinal Tetra
1 x Common Bristlenose Catfish (Ugly Bobette) (5 inches)
9 x Harlequin Rasbora (15 inches)
3 x Otos (6 inches)
2 x Bolivian Butterfly (Rams) (8 inches)
3 x Siamese Algae Eaters (18 inches)
By my reckoning this equates to 64 inches + the cardinals which I am not really counting.
As I will be reducing the SAE's to 1 well before they reach adult size - they are there to help control hair algae at the moment. I reckon my stocking levels are at about 52 inches.
What I'm after are suggestions for compatible community fish for this tank. The dimensions are: 99lx47dx60h cm (or 39lx18.5dx23.5h inches approx). It is filter with a 900lph overhead filter inthe hood, and a fluval 4+ internal filter.
As the tank is high for it's length, I want to spread my community across all levels (i.e. top, middle and bottom dwellers).
Some of you may have seen the problems I have had recently, so this is not an immediate purchase thing - i will be getting more fish in a month or so if no further problems arise. In the mean time I will be researching potenital candidates.
So, any suggestions? I have included the fish size measurements as a guide, but with the tank size and excess filtration, am happy to stock to a level approachin 1.5 inches per gallon if I can get the mix of fish right.
