I accidentally spilled a bit of sugar in my 10g planted aquarium.
Do you think this will harm the fish?

How much is a bit? Well it won't rot their teeth, but I'd do a water change asap just to be on the safe side. Small tank, won't tank you long and that'll dilute whatever's left to acceptable levels hopefully.

How did you manage to spill sugar in the tank? You're obviously a man who was multi tasking.

A bit means like less than an eigth. Not much, I know but im concerned anyway because i have fry guppys in their.

I had leftover sugar from one of my nutrafin co2 canisters in a cup i use to thaw brine shrimp with. I forgot to takke out the sugar before gathering water in my cup and before i knew it there was sugar being poured into the tank. oops.

ANyay, thanks for the info. Its good being back at this forum. Id be broke and still a fish noob if it wasnt for you guys.
