Suddenly warm water Im worried....

Well I was just doing water changes and tested the water every thing was ok but I felt the water it was warm....I did just add gravel but my stick on thermometer says my tankis 76 well it sure doesn't feel it! I added the gravel about 1 hour ago could it be causing the warmpth of my tank? Cause my bettas tank feels fine.

if you have a thermomiter in another tank, use that one to verify your tank's temp.

The sticker ones? Yup. They are alot more inacurate than the ones in the tank because they can easily be influenced by the outside temperature, especially when outside the tank is either very hot or very cold.

The temp of the water in your tank will always feel different when you feel it with your hand depending on whether or not your warm or cold. It's happened to me a lot. Sometimes I'll feel in my tanks and it'll feel like bath water and yet other times it'll feel really cold. You cant really judge too well if you go by your hand.

The internal ones are cheap. I had to get a new one yesterday for my shellie tank and it wasn't even a $1.25. Maybe slightly more after you add in taxes. The external ones are roughly the same price.
