I have a juwel rio 240 with the standard filter, it gets a 25% water change every week with new floss filter every week, new carbon and nitrate filter every 4 weeks. Do you think i am overstocked then?

As for feeding they get dried flake once a day with algae wafers last thing at night for the bottom feeders and then daphnia in place of the flake twice a week

I have juwel tanks and there filter are not up to much power heads i mean, i would get yourself another filter and run it with the juwel, you will notice the water quality straight away, it sounds like the filter isn't good enough with the plec.

You will eventaully need a 90gal tank for the clown loaches.

Thanks for the tips. What sort of filter would you reccomend to run along side the juwel ?

Don't rate fluval much, etheim if i have spelt it right it's really good, just bought one, as i run two filters in all my tanks.
