Sudden Death

I went over to my tank to say good night to my fish (as I often do, and I am sure others do too) and I noticed my black lyretail molly, Molly II, was not swimming. I tapped gently on the glass behind her and discovered she was dead. I am not too sure why she has passed. The tank is clean and the water is brackish to the amount designated for mollies.

Since she died so suddenly I can take her back to the pet store and get a refund or another molly. Perhaps I shouldn't name this one Molly III, since the other two mollies bearing that name passed away too soon.

Be very careful when buying new fish and adding them to your tank,without keeping them in another tank for a couple of weeks. Because what ever caused that fish to die can very easy spread to your tank and cause the rest of your fish to die also.. I am sorry to hear about your fish.. little girl
