I saw this sucker mouth fish 3 weeks ago at my LFS here and I bought them today as my new tank set up is ready. I'm just wondering, i have been looking this suckermouth fish species name/bio for weeks now. Can someone help me?

PS/ What I only know this sucker fish can't be mixed with flowerhorn.

Behaviour of this fish : very quick / fast.
Physical : it look like a stingray since it has a broad body.

That's a baby plecostomus. Not sure the type, but there are plenty of plec keepers around the forum.

If you're thinking about getting one be aware that they grow pretty big and produce a LOT of waste. You'll need a big tank to accomodate one (at least 50 gallon, if not bigger).

Is there any detail on this suckermouth that i can read anywhere in the internet. The unique thing is it has broad base body  . Thanks for the reply :D

Plecs are lovely fish, I reccomend browsing the Catfish Cradle part of this page, that's where you will find lots of good info. There's even a sticky about plecs.

It's not a plec. It's a Hillstream or Borneo Loach.
Exactly

These guys need cooler then average water temps, and also a fast water current is necessary, or they will perish. They eat algae tablets and veges, and tend to not grow very much.

A highly unique fish to have, if you can match its requirements.

P.T.

definately a hillstream loach. they need to be in a tank with fast flowing water to simulate their natural environment.
i think they need to be in groups too but im not entirely sure

Definately a Hillstream Loach! They're cold water fish I believe, it's an easy mistake to make, Pets At Home were selling the as 'Coldwater plecs' a while ago.
