Sucker Fish Fin Rot?

hey guys & gals.

random 1st post but i really dont know what to do.


my sucker fish (i dont know what type it is, its like a black/brown colour and sort of leopard print but in those colours)
has fin rot, i think. it all happened about 2 days after putting a crayfish into the tank.

i dont want my sucker fish to die, if the crayfish is the cause i will offer him back to the shop.

any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

EDIT: i think it's one of these ~ Suckermouth Catfish (Hypostomus plecostomus) looks like it!

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Don't know anything about crayfish, so I would also post in the right part of the forum.
I think there aggressive, but not to sure.

Any white edging to fins.
Any red edging or pink edging to fins.

Can you describe the finrot in more detail.
