:-( :/  They ate their eggs..... Before I could get pictures. But I still plan to take pics of my pair. It's sad, but I realize that it is a part of life, and I plan to hopefully help the next breeding work out better. They are still displaying breeding behavior though.
My severums just laid eggs today for the first time. I have a pleco in there and will leave him and hope for the best as I don't want to chase him around and make ma and pa nervous. The eggs look healthy so far and they both are doing a good job protecting them as they won't even leave them to eat. They waited till the food sank and floated past them. Also I haven't read anything about this behaviour, they put their bellys up to the eggs and look like they are fanning them does it serve a purpose?? Anyway I have pics but can't figure out how to upload them on here.

Shame about the eggs Rare, but they'l try again with luck and they could be fertile this time.

Any updates on them?

Well I decided to remove the other fish in the tank Daddy fish nearly sucked the skin off my arm. lol Anyway about a dozen eggs turned white and were eaten but the rest are all wigglers now and seem fine. The parents moved them to a crevace between some rocks and seem more relaxed now that the other fish are gone. I am thinking they will make it now but we'll see. I still can't figure ou how to get pics up. Do I need a payed membership or something?
