Subwassertang

I recently got a small clump of subwassertang and was wondering if it is better to grow it tied to some timber or a rock?

I recently got a small clump of subwassertang and was wondering if it is better to grow it tied to some timber or a rock?

It doesn't have roots so tying it will be the better option, it will eventually attach like moss if left long enough though.

Really is a lovely plant once it gets going
