Which species of subtropical fish that you could kept them in 20 to 30gal tank without heater? My house temp is almost always 72 to 75F. I do have North American native fishes but would like add some to the mix.

I've not kept any of these but one of the LFS near me sells Zebra Danios and White Cloud Minnows for un-heated tanks. There is also something they call a cold water sucker in one of the tanks but i've got no idea what species it really is.

cold water suckers are probably hillstream loach (also sometimes called hong kong plecs)
others include: Weather loach, Leopard Danios
However i would be sceptical as to whether these would be compatible with your existing fish

Rosy barbs do great in lower temps, as they are subtropical fish.

Same goes for peppered corydoras, zebra/leopard danios, white cloud mountain minnows and buenos aires tetras

What north american fish do you have in the tank and how many plus any other fish? Some of them can grow very large and be rather aggressive or predatory. Also what sort of filtration do you have and what is your average tank cleaning maintanence regime?

There are a lot of sub-tropical fish, however quite a few of them require specialist set ups (like hillstream loaches).

Tokis, you need to not be worry about other people's tank just like last time in other forums. So don't answer to me anymore.

Im expert on North America native fishes, so I know how to deal with them and the subtropicals species. Im not new to fish hobby. I have common sense. Most of my native fishes are smaller nonpredatory species.

If you're an expert on subtropical and n.american species of fish then why are you asking what ones can go in a 20-30gal tank which has north American fish of which you refuse to name? You expect people to give you decent advice on that? Try to think things through better, Butch.
I have no what you are talking about when it comes to other forums, however if you are referring to the livebearer thread that was done months ago, then if you think you came out the better for it, then thats your own delusion- remember the thread you did straight after everything was resolved on the original thread and only one person replied, who told you were out on your own in it? I generally try to avoid bringing up past threads in non-related threads, but if you insist...

I try to offer you honest advice, and you turn a cold shoulder to me, for a situation you created. Grow up and move on Butch. I will answer whoever i like on this forum, just like anyone else.

I never said I was expert of subtropical species, I only knew zebra danio, WCMM, gambusia, variatus platy and japanese medaka. But what is there others?

My 30gal have only 4 red rosy minnows, buefin killies and a lone swamp darter. I have five 10gal tank, few 6 to 8 gal tanks, a 55gal and I recently got 30 gal from garage sale last fall.
