Hello again,

Sorry to keep bombarding you with questions but I wanna get this right first time and I'd much rather the opinions of people who keep brackish tanks than rely on my lfs advice which I don't always rate

Anyway - with glass fish and a few bumble bee gobies in my tank I was wondering what substrate would be most suited? Opinions please

The best substrate for brackish tanks is coral sand.

It is best to use crushed coral or aragonite, to keep the pH around a steady 8.

My 'natural' PH is already 8 to 8.5 though, will this still be OK to use?

If that's the case, probably gravel should be ok too. As long as the pH remains steady.
