Would a substrate of laterite and vermiculite (mixed) be a good under-layer for gravel to put plants into?
The tank is fairly dark so I’ve read CO2 is not essential, is this true?
Also what fertilizers are best recommended to use?
I’m not 100% on which plants to get; I’ve been recommended a few but I’m going to have a look around my LFS to see what they have before I start.
My LFS does sell a lot of Ambulia at reasonable prices; these are fast growing, would they be suitable for a semi-dark tank.
The tank gets no direct sunlight but gets enough light.
