I am looking hopefully to redo my large tank, 150 l x 50 d I think, at the same time I was going to change the substrate, I have normal coloured sand, in the sand I have many fertiliser balls to assist plant growth. So rather than go down the same route would like to add some other sort of substrate below black sand.
I have the tetra and jbl ones that sit at base covered with sand on 2 of my other smaller tanks,
Are there any recommendations? best for price? how much would I need for 150 x 50 tank
What about Seachem Flourite black sand, could this be mixed with normal black sand?
