So This morning while trying to get TJ to go to sleep @ 4am. I realised I had Forgotten to Feed the SB Pair (still Not named them).
They sit next to each other in there Cubes. So took the Lid of the females and fed her/him.
Got TJ to sleep and put him back i his crib.

JUst got back from the TJ's 1st Visit to the Childrens Centre and Find that she Jumped into his Cube and has Obliterated his Finnage completely. I mean there is hardly anything left, she has bitten him down to scarggly bits.
He was bad I have had to treat him using Betadine Antiseptic Paint (have used it in the Past with really Badly Damaged Finnage), and had to clean up his fins, they were just soooooooooooooo Bad.

He loooks So Strange now, and is a little unsteady when swimming after losing all the weight of his Very Heavy Finnage.

She on the Other Hand Has no bites or a single torn bit of finnage.



Stupid Stupid Sleepy Mistake.

Should have taken some pix of the damage, but was more worries about treating him as the edges were bloody looking.



There is a Silver Lining I suppose, Realised that his is a Dumbo - Very Big Fanned Dumbo Pectoral Fins.

clean water and he will be fine. just keep an eye out for the next day or so for any white fluff/fuzz at the margins of the injury.
best of luck with him. his fins will eventually grow back.

ahh thanks guys,

Shelagh i am holding TJ now while typing, trying to get him settled for the night. He seems to like the sound of the PC, and the midwife said that others have used the sound of the PC to get them to sleep.

He Has recovered Very Well, And Is already courting her again. Readily Building another large nest under his cup.
Can already See a Layer of new growth coming thru.
