Stupid Swordtails

today i just came back from holidays and i realized that one of my neon tetras are missing and then the next day i saw it was fin nipped and half dead and had a white spot on the eye and then i saw that the swordtail was trying to atack it and kill it somehow
pleas can you cum up wif a solution and the sword tail trys to nip my guppies to is there any solution

Maybe a water change will Have some kind of and effect.

Some times a fish or fishes will attack sick or un healthy fish and can eventually kill it

if it’s just the I swordtail trying to attack your fish or guppies it may be you've been unlucky and have a aggressive swordtail .

Swordtails are normally peaceful, occasionally you get one that can be very aggressive

i have two swordtails one is a male and one is a female

Vary strange stuff, but i think fish48 is correct here.

If the fish is suffering and dieing then the other fish will attack it even harmless small fish.

i personally never had a problem w/ swords doing anything like this. this is new to me. neons are very sensitive to water fluctuation. perhaps it came up w/ a disease or was so over stressed from bad water perimeters that it died, and thus caused the sword to take advantage of an easy meal? there are too many possibilities in my humble opinion, to come to a fair conclusion.

i had the same problem it was just being territorial if you have a 20 gallon or below you could try to get a bigger tank.
