Stupid Question About Heaters...

Why is it that I see pics of ppls tanks with the heater completely submerged...with the cord down in the water? Is that safe??

For heaters to be completely safe they would need to be completely waterproof, so yeah, I am sure it is pretty safe.

It depends on the heater you have some are fully submersible and other arnt

The one that I have is fully submersible but I didn't know that the manufacturer meant the cord too. Well, I gues that answers my question. Thanks.
