Stupid Question about female Bettas!

Hi

Since I have no desire to put females together in 1 tank for risk free, I never thought about the minimum sized tank for the maxmium female bettas.

she wants to know if she can put more than 1 female betta in a 1 gal. I thought no, but what do you guys think?

Nope. If she wants to have more then one female in a tank, she can either divide a 2.5 or 5 gal and put one on each side, or she can get a 10 gal and put lots of plants and caves for hiding places and put a MINIMUM of 4 in it. Females are just as aggressive and territorial as males and need a lot of space to establish their territories. Let her know too that some females are just too aggressive for a community tank.
