Ok so Ive had my tank for acouple months now and other than my parasite problem (crossing fingers... hopefully thats gone) everything has been fine. But acouple days ago I noticed that my tank seems dirty. Like the walls of the tank are starting to grow this green stuff. What is this and how do I get rid of it?
I have been doing water changes as well.
Thanks ;)

Hi Mariah, as its difficult to diagnose from the description you have given, it simply sounds like algae, but heres a link, and maybe you can identify it for us. :)

Hi, first off thanks for the link :D
I would say it kinda like spot algee but not in spots.... Does that make sense? Like its in a cluster....
But theres not as much of it as in the picture. Its actually very faint. You would only really notice it if you look really hard as the side of the tank.
I think im catching it before it gets really bad.
So now what do I do to get rid of it?
Thanks

Do you clean your glass inside with a glass cleaner magnet.

Just sounds like algae. Just scrape it off with a hand scraper or a magnet cleaner.

If you look close does it look like tiny little green umbrellas that got turned inside out in the wind? I have algae that looks like that. I got some free snails with some hornwort and they are doing most of the work for me.
