So I have a male crowntail in a 10 US gallon tank (37ish liters I think?). I need to add something to the tank because I have some plants coming in, and the tank looks empty honestly. I was thinking a pair of those dwarf frogs or whatever? And maybe a shoal of cories (I don't need the basic info bout cory shoals, substrate, etc.) any species ideas? If not the cories (or with the cories) I want a few shrimp of some sort. I've heard YES n NOs to smallish (tho not too small to be eaten) tetras in the tank. My bettas more of the mellow type I believe. I DO have a backup 29 US gallon (currently has 2 scissortail rasboras, a Bristlenose pleco, and 3 kuhli loaches), but I was wanting to add german blue rams and cardinals to it.

I wouldn't advise on the African dwarf frogs if you add cory and have other small quick fish since Dwarfs tend to be fairly slow. For shrimp just make sure you have almost no ammonia and nitrite because once they sense a little to much they will die fairly quickly (first hand experience) but the shrimp might compete for the food which mattering on what kind you get will either compete better or worse (ghost shrimp will get up in there with your other fish, as for cherries I have never had them).
As for Tetras it is like rolling dice you never know till after you put them in
