on another forum i am on (that i really regret regestering on) this one guy has a 30g tank and has 2 BLACK GHOST KNIVES, 3 OSCARS,a SUN FISH, 5 DWARF PUFFERS

If it was properly stocked and cared for it wouldn't look that disgusting. What gets me, is that he brags about working in a pet store for 2 years where he is the "fish specialist".

I once had a "fish specialist" at a pet store tell me that my fish got a bacterial infection because I changed the water more that once a month, and that 18 fish were too many. The tank in question: a 75gal mbuna tank, with all juveniles at the time. When I told her that I did weekly water changes, she just shook her head and said that was the cause of the bacterial infection, the water was too clean, and by changing the water I was draining out all of the beneficial bacteria. "Fish specialist" my arse.

A woman i work with was given more or less the same info. They didn't mind the fact that when she cleaned the filter sponges she used fairy liquid.

And of course the person's comments about everyone needing to get off their backs b/c apparently they think they know it all...
Ok just clicked on it to make it larger... kinda blurry but I think i see some smaller fish in the back.....

This here is my Hex 5g. I really like it, for a 5 gallon that is. Oh and be happy I scrubbed the algae build up on the front of the tank just so I could take a decent pic! It's a lil bit cloudy because of that...stupid algae.

Ya....I had all the species marked here...but apparently everyone just seems to think it's overstocked. IT'S NOT! Don't just agree on things until you know what exactly all the fish actually are....cuz it pisses me off when people do that. I do my reasearch before I add ANY fish into any of tanks, I look first to see if they're aggressive or not, or how big they get. ALL except for one of the fish in that tank are FINE. The clawed frog...will be going into my 25 gallon soon, that was the intention. But nooooo, everyone was all...'omg those poor fish...boo hoo hoo...'. Back off, seriously. I have been working at a pet store for 2 and a half years, where I specialize in fish. And you know what, if you think I am such a horrible fish keeper than maybe you should god damned well talk to some of the idiot customers I have to deal with where one has a 10 gallon aquarium qith 23 god damned goldfish in it. So don't you DARE say I have too many fish in my tank, cuz at least I know what i'm doing......

What the hell man? I've been working at a fish store for roguhly the same ammount of time but I wouldn't call myself a fish specialist yet. Theres so much more I need to learn but thats just sick. Why do people do this and ignore people who do know what they're talkin about?

I checked out the link today, and he has written that the "tank no longs exists due to popular demand", which is excellent if he's telling the truth. So much for being a "fish specialist".
