can i feed 1 crickets or meal worms?

I have fed Mealworms in the past to larger Killi sp.
As for crickets, I'd be very wary of choking fish using them. Aplochelius lineatus possesses a type of hinged jaw, similar to cichlids, it is a predator so will try to consume whatever livefood its presented with. Wither it can consume it or not it will have a go....sometimes it may take a while to consume but then you have to think about digestion. For me anyway I'd be inclined to steer clear of crickets unless they are very small and only if they are at the 1st instar stage.
