Two of my fish are suffering from this and I know it to be a negative parasitic thing. One is morose and hangs out in the corner the other seems fine, joins in normally.

1. will it spread to other fish?

2. whats the best treatment?

yes it will spread to other fish.take any carbon out of your filters and treat them with interpet no 9 if they are not to far gone it should sort them out .
