stringy poop? / poop staying on hornwort

This is a two part question.
Is poop supposed to stay on the hornwort?
And how is fish poop normally? are 1 cm poops normal? or is it considered constipated

I found snail poop to always be attached to my floating hornwort. The size of poop can vary IME. I’ve had fish, snail and shrimp poop get to over 2-3cm before. A picture could help also to see if there is anything out of the ordinary.
