does stringy poo indicate internal parisites?- if so i am pretty stuffed as most of my fish have stringy poo, if this is the case what have i done wrong?

thanks

what type of fish are you taling about?

i have had stringy poo in all of these fish:

fancy goldfish
bosemani rainbows
sunset platies
guppies
gourami- opaline

at the mo its just the guppies, platys and rainbows that i have as the others are long dead- they were from like 3 months ago

Long stringy white poo can be constipation, bacterial infection, internal parasites.
Need to look at there diet, so what do you feed your fish?

Signs of internal parasites are as follows.
Long stringy white poo, or clear mucas poo.
Worms prutruding from the anus.
Fish will bloat up or look skinny.
Enlarged anus or red inflamed anus.
Bent spine sometimes,
Sometimes the fish will swim on there sides.

ok, feed my fish flakes, and then peas once a week, the poo is sometimes long and stringy and also at times it is mucas like white cloudy colour strings, no worms , none of the other symptoms, the fish sometimes(well the guppies and platy), sometimes like have what i would describe as a small fit, they like spasm and flick their body on the gravel

well my sisters goldfish sort of have a stringy poo, what should it be like?

should no poo be white then? dont think iv seen white, my fish are fine but iv seen my sisters do the stringy ones every now and again. (yuck!)

Fish waste should be brown or the colour of the food they are eating.
Long stringy white poo can indicate that the fish has consitpation, bacterial infection, internal parasites.
