I was looking at this product on the internet and i was wondering if anyone on here has used it and whether it is anygood?

On the website it says that a teaspoonful of this product contains around 100 million live bacteria, if so i think this could be helpful for anyones tank.

There are a lot of good water conditioners out there. I personally use Prime which I think is wonderful. It is inexpensive considering you only need to use 2 drops per US gallon of water.

Stress Zyme is something I have not personally used but I am familiar with its claims and don't feel it is something that is very important. As my thought process goes, if the fish are healthy their slime coats will already be healthy, and if they are sick Stress Zyme is not going to be sufficient to cure them of anything.

TammyLiz, I am wondering if you are confusing STress Zyme with Stress Coat? Stress Coat removes chlorine/chloramines/heavy metals and replaces the fish's slime coat. There does seem to be some controversy over that product as it contains aloe.

Stress Zyme does not dechlorinate, it only adds bacteria. However I have heard that it is actually rather gimmicky. A read an article (don't know where sorry) in which the tested the stress zyme and found no bacteria.

 You're right. I did get them confused.

I'd believe it about not finding bacteria. I wouldn't think anything beneficial would survive just sitting on a shelf. Its not like they are going to have ammonia to feed them for very long in the bottle.

I use the API stress zyme was recommended and put in two and half caps a week is supposed to be good when adding new fish as well. I found it to be half the price on Ebay even including p&p than what it cost in LFS :) If I am wasting my money or not I have no idea
