Stress Stripes Vs. Spawn Stripes

my female betta has 2 parallel blackish stripes going down her body from about her head to her tail, I just put a new filter in there and was wondering are these stress stripes or I've noticed shes filled with eggs so could it be spawning stripes. Unfortunately I didnt study her enough before I put the filter in to know if its changed, any help would be appreciated.

spawning stripes go from the back of the fish to the belly. stress is from head to tail and theres only 2 stress lines. usually spawning stripes are bent like >

Vertical stripes | = "I'm happy" stripes. Horizontal __ = stressed stripes. So in other words, your girls stripes sound like stress stripes.

uh oh, must be the new filter, I guess She'll get used to it. I'll keep a sharp eye on her
