Hello! I recently bought a used 30 gallon tank. I have only had a small 10 gallon for the last couple years. After setting it up and filling it with water I just noticed this morning that there are some tiny marks on the tank. There is no bowing whatsoever. Even still I have never had a tank this size and it makes me a little nervous. How can I tell if these marks are superficial or a real problem?
Thanks!

Where abouts are they?
Are they on the inside or outside?
Can you feel how deep they are? Are they like surface scratches, or are the deep?

Answer those questions ans it will be alot easier to tell you if they are a problem :p

I doubt they will be, though.

The scratches are very shallow and only on the outside of the tank. I am pretty sure (now) that they are only superficial from wear and tear. I bought this tank used and it will be a brackish set up.

If there on the outside you can buy glass polish that will remove light scratches. its very good and will make it lots better.
