Stress Bars?

My baby Severum tends to stay more monotone color but on occasion either turns almost completely dark (only seen like once or twice) or more frequently gets barring on his side. Here is a pic after I added the silver dollars I got yetserday. I would really like to know what this is and if it is negative how i can avoid it. Water parameters are good and water is 76-77 degrees.

Yep stress bars. Once he feels more comfortable and gains some size he won't show them as much and as an adult, he shouldn't show them at all.

Yeah, my little green was was displaying bars like that ll the time the past month when I have my jewel cichlid in the tank. Now that she is removed he is monotoned all the time.
