Strange?

A strange furry like substance has appeared on the inner glass of my tank. it slowly moves in the waters movement.
Pet shop has no idea what it could be? fish are healthy and do not seem to be affected by this.
When I clean the inner glass the substance breaks off and floats about in small grey/whitish pieces then it appears on the glass within 4 days.

I have checked parametres of tank and all is as normal?

Yep, that's pretty bizarre. Looks like some kind of algae growth, but not like anything I've seen before. How old is this setup? How big? How many/what kind of fish?

It's 60 litre tank
is 3 months old
fish are

5 golden barb
4 neon tetra
3 female guppy
