HELLO, I HAVE HAD MY 90 LTR TANK FOR ABOUT 2 MTHS ALL LEVELS SEEM TO BE GOING PRETTY NICELY APART FROM I AM HAVING A JOB LOWERING MY KH AND GH,,I HAVE A FEW LIVE PLANTS ,AND I HAVE PUT 4 ZEBRA DANIOS IN,THE FISH HAVE BEEN IN FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS,IN THE LAST WEEK THE STONES AND THE GLASS HAVE TURNED BROWN BUT ONLY IN THE CTRE OF THE TANK,AND YESTERDAY I NOTICED 2 VERY STRANGE SMALL LIKE SNAILS ONLY ABOUT 3-4MM WHAT ARE THESE,WHERE DID THEY COME FROM AND ARE THEY DOING ANY HARM,ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Hi Angela! You may not need to lower your hardness unless it is absolutely horrendous, danios are not all that particular. The snails are probably pond snails come in with the plants or even with the water. They don't do any particular harm, but they do breed, so you can quickly find yourself overrun- you may want to get rid of them now. The brown stuff is probably brown algae, common in new tanks.

Oh, and could you take the caps off please? Makes it much harder to read, and it is considered the internet equivalent of shouting.

How cold is the room? If the room is centrally heated, it may not make that much difference. You could try wrapping a blanket round the tank to keep heat in if the room is chilly, maybe also keep the tank lights on for now.
