Strange White Spot On Tetra

Hi Guys,

Just noticed a white lump on the side of my neon tetra. It looks like a scratch maybe, it is sticking right out of its body and its straight through the blue stripe down its side.

Looks like something is sticking out of its side. Very strange, but any ideas anyone?

Does the white lump go to a point, also has the fish lost any clouration in the red and blue area, as though it's been bleached out.

Yeah it does look like it goes to a point. Colour is fine, fish looks healthy too

Keep a look out, as my neons had ntd and wiped the whole tank out, plus some of them had the lump you are describing that went to a point, can you issolate the fish.

Better get him out of there now then. Maybe this been the cause of a lot of deaths recently. Nightmare, will take him out now!!
