Strange Shrimps

hey ive been keeping tropical fish for about two months, ive got three shrimps and have noticed today that they have been acting strange, for example swimming to the surface then just sinking to the bottom and lying on their backs for a minute before doing the same thing again. could anybody help or offer any advice please?!

I think they meant that they bought shrimp and the shrimp were acting strangely, not that they had strange creatures in their tank.

Shrimp are wierd. Every so often one of my ghost shrimp decides to "hover" against the glass for like six hours straight...

What kind of shrimp are they? I just lost a bamboo (aka wood, aka fan shrimp) who had been doing this - I'm still not positive what killed him, but it may have been a rise in nitrates.

Ghost shrimp often act like this. The only thing I can think of is that they're trying to molt.

They were ghost shrimp, all 3 sadly died i havent got a clue what happened to them all the fish in the tank are perfectly fine it was just the shrimp that died, thanks for your replies anyway.
