Let me preface this with the fact that my other Molly has an ich, so she is separated in a sick bay. The Molly that is acting oddly now is the only Molly in the tank. That may explain some of the oddness.

This Molly doesn't eat anymore. She sits either on the top of the water or on the bottom with the gravel and moves very little. It's been a couple days, and I'm not sure what is going on here. This Molly is not exhibiting any signs of sickness other than what I've describe. I have Platies in the tank, and they seem to be doing just fine.

I'm hoping to reintroduce the second Molly into the main tank soon, and hopefully that will help the situation. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Molly's dont usualy exhabit any signs of sadness when a friend is removed.

But he lethargic nature and loss of apperatite sounds like a gill infection. this reduces the oxygen taken in by the fish.

I would use a good formalin based treatment to flush through the gills.

Helter
