I have just noticed a strange growth on on of my platies. As far as I can tell, it is a male. The growth is around the anal fin and looks like a sack full of clear bubbles protruding out on both sides around the rectum. Each "sack" is about 1/4" around. Its midsection doesn't appear to be swollen like it may be pregnant, that's why i think its a male. I have got it in quarantine as of right now. Does anyone know what this might be. Unfortunately my camera and computer aren't playing well with each other so I can't show any pics.
