I have a group of 6 cories in my community tank. Today I noticed a couple of the larger ones "flicking" themselves against some of the decorations - as if they had an itch or were marking territory. I'm sure that there's no ICH in the tank - water parameters are good and no one is ill. It's only the corys that are doing this. Is this normal?

;) It certainly won't be whitspot (ich), cories are the last fish to get it because of their armoured scutes (scales). Your other fish would be riddled with it before then.

It may just be an irritation after ferreting about the gravel

I would do a water change and a good gravel clean to start and see what happens. :) Mac.
