Noticed my female pregnant mollie rubbing on the leaves of the plants and the heater. Pretty hard it looked. I noticed it once yesterday and just now again right now. Advice ?

Does she have any white spots on her?
Do a 75% water change

No white spots on her or any other fish at all.

Do a 75 water change right now ?

If you turn the light off and shine a flashlight on her does it look like there is a god sheen on her?

This is coming out of her bottom. Poop and white string ...

She could have worms or an internal infection @Colin_T knows the best way to treat that

It could also be she is ready to drop but it's good to do the water change just in case its anything else:)

Yea the white thing wasn’t long and was gone right after that picture. Doing the water change now. I did notice the temp was 82. I turned it down a little now too

She hasn’t rubbed on anything since the water change. And hasn’t had any white things since. Her poops look normal ..... will continue to watch.

I'm glad. She may have just been irritated from something in the water

Do 75% water changes everyday then add rock salt or swimming pool salt.
