Story about the cute LSF guy

There's this guy at my lfs who I have always thought was so hot - Tall, dark, handsome... you know the type. The fact that he was a fish guy was the icing on the cake.

He happened to be not busy so I went and asked him about this moonlight they have on the website (See here)The guy said they don't carry it, but could order it in for me. I asked if they had any LED things that would do the same thing. He said that the moonlight effect doesnt show up in a tank and is only used to show the fish the surface of the water so they dont jump out.

The he took me over to a tank that had a light strip on it with built in LED (that he kept L C D - how annoying is that!?!) and said 'look how small it is... That won't do anything'. He turned off the other light, and turned them on, and said. 'Hmm. how about that. Thats pretty bright. I thought LCD's didn't give off that much light.

Why is the cute guy so technologically in-ept.

I have a moonlight bulb in my biggest tank by the way and it's glorious and the nocturnal fish often come out when that's on.

Gosh no... im just saying why is that cute guy that way. I know so many cute and smart guys. I was just upset that this guy wasnt.

I hate it when that happens! (The whole finding-out-the-cute-guy-that-works-at-the-pet-store-is-clueless thing.) Stinky, stinky, stinky... Hey, if you are ever in California, I could take you to a lfs with a very cute, fish-smart guy.

I don't remember seeing any guys on here talking about cute LFS girls. Why is this. In face, the more I think about it, I don't ever remember seeing any cute girls in LFS's. Interesting...?

There is an expensive fish store I go to just to see the cute fish guy! I'm in my 30's but I still appreciate some (younger) eye candy once in awhile! lol

Don't judge him that way. Maybe if you spoke to him about quantum physics or nuclear fission, then he might surprise you. Either one could be his specialty. Maybe he works at the LFS to make ends meet. Or could be hiding from an ex. Who knows?

I suppose your right. You never know... Lets just say he isnt the guy i though he was. My heart is broken... not to mention the gold band he was sporting on his ring finger... so much for me being mrs cute fish guy. lol

No smart guy doesnt know about LEDs. LED's have been a staple of nerd life for years he is meerly a good looking simpleton. you shoud definitly go for brain over cuteness. Did I mention my last IQ test came back a 162



Just think how popular he must have been in highschool and how he now has a job with so little room to move up.

Ah yes, the mythical cute guy that works in a fish and/or petstore that knows exactly what he's talking about.... As to why no cute girls, I could not answer, I want to work at one but they're all mom and pop deals And anyone who's ever seen Deuce Bigalow knows that we girls have to be careful when getting those snails at the bottom of the tank
