Storing Equipment

As you know a few years away...

Anyways, when i am not using equipment i would use in the tank for maitance (ie. Hoses, nets, vacume, scrapers.)
I was thinking of storing them in a bucket near the tank filled with clean water and some melefix to treat anythink that could pass from tank to tank.

Of should i just let them hang dry and not worry about it?

Giving them a rinse with chlorinated tap water & letting them dry has worked fine for me for a long time. Let the water company provide disinfectant.
