I remember from years ago as a kid having a tank that became overrun with snails ( "they'll eat all the algee sonny" ) Looking at fish stockest these days the tanks seem to be free of the beasties. But there could always be a chance that shails or their eggs could be on the live plants that I buy.
Is this a problem nowadays?
Is there a way of making sure snails don't get introduced into the tank other than using a flame thrower on the plants first
