By the inches-per gallon, you're barely over, but the bulk of it is neon tetras, which are very small and won't be producing as much biolaod as 12 inches of any larger species.

Provided your water stats are stable (ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate under control, pH stable) and the tank has been running a few months, I'd consider adding a school of small top swimmers like danios, hatchetfish, or small rasboras.

Edit: I'm assuming the tank is 60 liters, I'm not entirely familiar with the Juwel models.

I don't know enough about plecos to say if that tank would be too small for the one you have or not (I do realize that particular species is rather small as pleco's go...about 10cm/4in correct? (Although I saw somewhere they're banned from export?)

I would be a bit concerned that 3 apistos and 2 rams would not peacefully share that small of a space once over time.

how big does the pleco get?
if it is fairly small, i'd say you'r good.

Queen arabesques get about 4 inches.

yeah i'd say the tank is full but not overstocked.

the rams and apisto's.... well it's gonna depend on the temprement of the individual fish, just make sure they each have their own hiding spots or caves and monitor them as they come into sexual maturity which is when squabbling will start.

thanks for the replies-- while i'm skimming on the documents with the aquarium i've noticed that it's not a Rekord 60
Juwel stopped manufacturing it somehow-- my old one is a Rekord 60 and this new one is a Rekord 600 ----
the only difference is the height of the tank --- the Rekord 600 is taller than the 60----

i have the apistos in my Old tank-- they get along with tetras-- i was planning of tranferring them to the new tank--
set up as SA tank--- so i'm planning of adding a GBR and the Queen Arabesque in there too--- I'll leave my gouramis in the
Old one--

As MW said, depends on the fish, keep an eye on the Apistos and Rams.

and the rekord 600 is approx. 63ltrs.
