MRshouty and I are cycling a 15 US gallon (20x10x18 inches) and were thinking of doing maybe 2 dwarf gouramis, 5 danios and.....what would be good that we could do maybe 2 of that would get alng good maybe not as hyper as danios and doesn't need to be in a shoal??? :)

I don't know alot about gouramis, but I have read that two won't get along well. You'll probably just want to get one dwarf gourami. As for other fish suggestions...hmm...maybe some cories or kuhli loaches? Possibly peacock gobies (if you could find them). Or some otos (the zebra ones are very neat, but hard to find)?

@ Gouramis in 15 gallon may not work, I have 2 in 75 gallon. And occasionally one is pic on by other, by in a 15 gallon, not that many places to hide

I think with those fish you need some bottom activity. I would recommend 3 panda cories or other small cory. The 2 gouramis can work out but you wont know until you try. These fish tend to have their own personalities so you will have to try it out and see if it works. Just make sure that the LFS will allow you to exchange one if it doesnt work out. HTH :)
